I haven't posted much recently about my crafting projects, so I figure this post is probably overdue. I'm still working with wire-wrap jewelry, and I'm getting a lot more comfortable with it again. This past Saturday,
orthaevelve and I went to
Midnight downtown to vend some of our crafty wares to the goths. It was a fairly low turnout that night, and I didn't end up selling any of my pieces that night, but I had fun and I did have the chance to work on some new pieces while we were there. We're planning to go back next month, as well as vending with
per_akh at the
Northern Virginia Mineral Club's 18th annual Gem, Mineral, and Fossil show at GMU in Fairfax, VA.
In the meantime, I'm working both to expand my inventory and further refine my technique. I've been finding some good information online lately about wire-wrap techniques that I believe I'll be able to incorporate in my work. And even just practicing more has definitely been helping, as you can see from my latest Tree of Life pendent below:
