As much as I am a fan of the internet, it annoys me that certain aspects of internet culture have superceded that of real life to the point where searching for information on certain varieties of crafting yields vastly more results from World of Warcraft and other MMORPGs than it does from actual crafting resources.  I've even tried drilling down to more specialized terms, only to find that these too have been appropriated for the games apparently in the name of realism.

I eventually found what I was looking for, but I had to specifically craft searches that included -"warcraft" and -"WoW" in the terms.  That reduced the results I got from 11,500,000 to 456,000 and largely (but not completely) removed the game material.
