I love this post just because I’ve been seeing people lately making the dubious claim that the distinction between therians and otherkin is that therians rely on psychological explanations while otherkin rely on spiritual ones. This, of course, ignores most of the history of the therian community stretching back to AHWW and the term “spiritual therianthropy”. The topics above nicely illustrate that.
