Trying something different... I've just opened a new community on LJ where I will be posting my actual essays, rather than including them here with my normal musings and such. It's over at www.livejournal.com/community/thesongofdream/
Membership is closed, since it's just a place for me to post my own essays to, but all posts there will be public and anyone can comment (though as a safety measure I have made it so anonymous comments will be screened first.) We'll give it a try and see how it goes, and if changes need to be made along the way they will be.
I've already posted my last essay there, and I'll be combing the archives of my LJ, and some of the lists, to collect my other ones into a single place and make them more accessible.
