I made it exactly that far in the narrative before my brain shut down completely. Up to that point, I was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt-- it didn't seem any stranger than some of the other origin stories I've seen tossed around the 'kin community.

It reads like a cross between the usual overstretched 'look at me, I'm SOOOOO important' background story and a particularly bad piece of fiction-- with a large dose of overexposure to pop culture thrown in for good measure.

I haven't finished it, and I don't think I'm going to bother. My head is starting to hurt already from trying to make sense of this, and I'm only on chapter four the fourth section. I can't imagine what the entire thing would do to me.

Looks like the summary of a bad Sci-Fi B-movie. Not to mention how annoying it was to have to keep hitting "Back" on my browser to get back to the contents page because there was no link to go directly to the next page. I gave up when I saw the picture of the stargate, looks like it was copied from the TV series.
