I'm working on a few final things to get ready for the weekend with him... I'm using my limited artistic ability to make us an Inuyasha-o-Lantern (Yes, an anime jack-o-lantern. You heard right.) and I'm trying to find some way to preserve the jack-o-lantern since my last one spoiled fairly quickly. I stopped into one of the local craft stores today trying to find something, but the person working there that I asked had never heard of anything like that and didn't even think you could do that with a jack-o-lantern. And most of the suggestions I'm finding online are rather flammable which seems bad for something around an open flame.
On the bright side, while I was in the craft store I found a really nice little bag... I'd been looking for something like it for a while now, but in other types of stores they've been much more expensive. 40 dollars or more. This was 20 bucks. The main difference seems to be that the other onces are "courier bags" and this is called a "crafting bag", but functionally they're almost identical, at least to my untrained eye. I'm quite happy with it, at any rate. It'll make carrying notebooks and stuff much easier... also will nicely hold a laptop if/when I get one... (which I am still hoping is just a matter of time... sharing a computer with my father gets more on my nerves every day.)
