Interesting discussion on Liminal Nation about actually blending permaculture and the occult: http://liminalnation.org/discuss/discussion/364/hypersigils-and-permaculture/

Goes more into practical discussion of how to do this than I've seen elsewhere. Apparently the concepts can be englished.

I do this from a feng shui perspective, typically, where working with the natural landscape is an integral part of the occult outlook and methodology. This goes from basic layout to choosing the colour of my vegetables based on their placement. It's, er, actually kind of fun.

Thanks for sharing the link, you know I've had trouble englishing some of this before, and from a quick at-work skim, it looks like there's some good stuff being said well.

heh. Bit of both, to be honest, as a lot of the latter boils down to tricking yourself with basic psychology and I've always been down with that as long as it doesn't claim otherwise. But Pod, in his formal study of ancient Chinese philosophy and religion, got fairly into some of the Chinese directional-form feng shui (and we purchased our house in part based on that and drove our realtor nuts) and has some fairly good badly-translated resources. There are several Chinese forms, of course, it being a large and not terribly homogenized country as much as governments like to pretend, and the more complex bits of Flying Star with full Chinese birth charts and family-order involved we generally ignore.
