Interesting text I was introduced to last night: Compendium of Occult Laws by Rev. R. Swinburne Clymber, M.D. from 1966.

I will read this, once I am less fucked up from fever. Or, maybe this is the best time to read such things, as the case has been for me in the past.

Heh, yeah... I thought you might like it. I realize I'm not an expert on Alchemy or Hermetic Philosophy by any means, but this is the first serious book on the subject that I remember seeing that includes the concept of mutual exchange/equivalent trade. Of course, it's equally possible that I've just skimmed past it in other works, not really sure.
