Final Party Update

Well, the Year of the Boar seems to be getting off to an early start here. We've heralded it in with fire and water. ;-) Minor fire in the apartment above mine this morning, none of it reached this apartment but we had some slight water issues after the fire department got down putting the fire out upstairs. Things are better now, the dripping has almost completely stopped, gas and electricity have been restored, and the few things that got wet are already drying out again, so we have decided to go ahead with tonight's party here. Sadly, though, we didn't have a chance to get out and pick up food or snacks, so we're likely going to be ordering in from takeout restaurants for the party itself. People with allergies, we will try to accomodate you as best as possible. If people are bringing any food, that will also be helpful and much appreciated. See you guys in a bit, I hope. :)
