Yeah, I give up. Reiki-foo shall be forthcoming, even if trying to keep up with it while going to school + working + assorted other life-drek will not be even remotely easy. The signs are just getting to be too much to ignore. I'm supposed to be doing this, period.

Hell, now I'm getting FREE BOOKS on my reiki-related research subjects almost bloody hand-delivered to me. Ones that look to be of fairly high quality, if not exactly what I would have expected. One of them makes note of similar forms of energy mentioned by people from Wilhelm Reich all the way back to Baron Karl Von Reichenbach and Paracelsus. It's also interesting to note that the purported subject of the book is the human aura, and "reiki" as used by Dr. Mikao Usui, is most appropriately translated as "aura" according to the word usage of his day. I'm looking forward to reading through it and broadening my knowledge of the subject and its interconnection with other fields, particularly alchemy (through paracelsus).

I'm curious about the reiki foo!

Right now, the Reiki foo is on my to-do list with an indeterminate deadline, since I just haven't had the free time to do much work with it. Between moving, work, school, and my dominionism-related project (which is being worked on, even though I haven't started up the cc-list just yet) the reiki stuff has been put on the back burner for a bit, though I haven't forgotten about it. Sadly, I just don't have enough hours in the day, not to mention energy for it all. I'm hoping that will change if/when I switch jobs... working part-time in the computer field has the potential to pay significantly better than the 8:30-5 I'm working right now. (One of my classmates made 100 dollars for spending an hour or two installing someone's DSL the other day. Five jobs like that a week and I'd be making a very tidy living and have much more free time to work on my own projects, even factoring in travel time to jobsites.)
