Two Questions about Dreamwidth:

It wasn't really clear to me, but is Dreamwidth a service that can be used for free, like Livejournal, or are all accounts on it paid accounts or going to become paid accounts at some point?

Second question... IF it can be used for free, and the accounts are not going to automatically become paid accounts at some point, anyone have a spare invite code so I can try it out and see for myself how it compares with using LJ?

Dreamwidth Question

Ok, so I've just created a dreamwidth account ([personal profile] jarandhel ). Still setting it up and learning to use the new site, don't even have a theme created for it yet. Not really a top priority. I'm still in the process of importing my old posts, but I've already got a question about something. On my "access list", two accounts are showing up as having been deleted (complete with 30 day warning) that I know are not. dancinglights.livejournal.com, and seorgia.livejournal.com. Anyone know why this might be?

In other news, looks like I need to customize my mood theme again too.

Definite Bug

So, apparently, importing 8 years worth of my Livejournal posts causes Dreamwidth to have some issues roundabouts the third year.  "XMLRPC failure: Exceeded XMLRPC recursion limit."

As a result, I can presently only import entries up to 2004.  I'll be reporting this as a problem shortly.

And may I just say, dang I've been on Livejournal a long-ass time.
