Well, I had an interview with Robert Half today (technically OfficeTeam, which is a division of Robert Half). It went pretty well, I think. Wasn't given an assignment yet, but I was told to check back with all of their local branch offices (there are four) every two days and with my interviewer every week, which seems FAR more proactive than Adecco. My interviewer was somewhat shocked that Adecco hasn't found anything new for me since my layoff in January after working for them for three years.
Plus, I kinda aced the tests they gave me in Excel and Data Entry. Their office average on the Excel test is 74%. My score was 94%. On alphanumeric keying, I actually doubled their office's average score. They were just a little bit impressed. *grins*
So, finger crossing starts now that this will lead somewhere. Or that one of the other places I've contacted about jobs will contact me with a job offer.
