Mr. Toad's Wild Ride

My father is more irresponsible than any ten other people that I know. Despite the fact that he recently renewed his drivers license, the simple truth of the matter is that his vision is not good enough for him to be driving. He maintains this himself as the reason why I need to drive him places. Yet he retains a cavalier attitude towards driving on our own land, insisting on moving our cars around on the property on his own when he thinks it is warranted.

Today he almost hit me trying to move my car from the side of the house to the front of it, when he didn't see me walking around to put my coat in it while we were getting ready. And since I had already said that I would be right out with my grandmother (and he was supposed to just be waiting in the car, not driving it) it could easily have been both of us behind him when he started backing up.

Despite this, he insists that his only mistake was not looking behind him before starting to back up, and that it's perfectly alright for him to drive the cars on the property.

I wonder who will drive him and my grandmother to the hospital after the ambulance when he does hit me?
