I've decided to start archiving publicly the links that I've found to major onlist discussions and conflicts over HOPE in the past. This is an interim step to compiling a FAQ about that organization's history.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/elven-realities/message/25056 <- HOPE's own FAQ about themselves, written by RevJohn and posted by Silverfox in December, 2000.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/elven-realities/message/25215 <- My rebuttle of that FAQ.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/elven-realities/message/25217 <- Documents I posted publicly proving that HOPE was lying about certain things to the community.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/elven-realities/message/25338 <- Response by Cha'tai'naira, a morph account of Adara's who she claims is a hosted being but who writes using a very similar style to Silverfox and whom has previously employed others to clean up her text and mask it's energetic origins so that it wouldn't be traced back to Silverfox, something which would not be necessary for a truly hosted entity in my own experience.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/elven-realities/message/25355 <- My response to "Cha'tai'naira"'s accusations of illegal activity in obtaining those emails.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/elven-realities/message/49778 <- A discussion about HOPE in which I applied the criteria of the ABCDEF cult evaluation frame to HOPE based on my experiences with and knowledge of the organization's practices.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/elven-realities/message/53303 <- A more recent post by me about my experiences in HOPE and why HOPE and similar groups are a bad idea.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/elven-realities/message/54889 <- My latest public rebuttle to Silverfox concerning HOPE-related concerns.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/outlawkin/message/408 <- A reply by me on outlawkin in September of 2001 to a post by Silverfox, involving much discussion of HOPE

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/outlawkin/message/615 <- A post by Silverfox inviting critics to join the HOPE message boards.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/outlawkin/message/616 <- A post by me noting that the message boards were mysteriously down due to technical difficulties immediately after that invitation was made.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/outlawkin/message/630 <- A post by Silverfox claiming that the technical difficulties were real.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/outlawkin/message/631 <- A reply by me that proved she was lying.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/outlawkin/message/633 <- Independent confirmation of that fact.

While neither of the lists involved in this post have public archives, Outlawkin is an open list and accepts anyone who wishes to join and I'm quite sure that the moderator of ER would be willing to allow people to join and see these archives for themselves as long as they were not disruptive to the list. (Right, Ri?)

Growing up is a strange process... our bodies hit the point where we are physically old enough to be parents ourselves when we are around 13 to 15 years old. The US government acknowledges us as adults a few years later when we are 18. Drinking establishments in the US acknowledge our maturity at 21. And then there are people who are 26 or 27 who speak about mistakes they made when they were 23, and which they supposedly are just now getting around to possibly correcting, as part of the normal process of growing up.

I wonder what the world would be like if more people tried to learn the lessons of childhood by the time they've reached earlier benchmarks of adulthood? I know people are living longer and longer these days, but I don't see that as necessitating a proportionate increase in the time spent developing into maturity.

Something to ponder...

Still tracking the past and present manifestations of HOPE, and I've managed to catch them in another blatant lie. Silverfox/Adara once publicly claimed that the Otherkin MSN community had no connection to HOPE: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/elven-realities/message/54887

Funny, currently it has the words "A Hope-Corde Organization owned group" right on it's main page. http://groups.msn.com/Otherkin/

The sheer transparancy of the deception involved is underwhelming. *chuckles*

I need to locate a pool... a nice, big, olympic-style public pool someplace near here. And I also need to locate some free time to visit it regularly, even just for one hour, two days a week or something. Swimming is something I enjoy, it's also something I do entirely too rarely, and it would be good for me on several levels... both in terms of physical exercise and as a kind of purification emotionally and spiritually, both of which I need. Hell, I might even settle for swimming at a nearby public beach if I can get over my discomfort swimming in cedar water... I dislike not being able to see while swimming, which is why I generally stick to just wading in lakes and rivers where the water is not especially clear.
