One of the things I really regretted after leaving Spanky's was that I never saved a copy of their online menu. Now that they're out of business, no copies of their menus exist anymore, at least so far as I've been able to find. And sadly, archive.org did not archive the site which provided the online menu.

I really wanted a copy of that menu, because I could make every single thing on it. But I didn't memorize them all, and while working at Spanky's I regularly (along with every other employee there) referred to the text of the menu to see exactly what went on the sandwiches that had been ordered. We even had one dismembered menu hanging up in sections in the kitchen for reference.

Today, I found the menu, or at least one very close to it. Macados is a restaurant owned by the brother of Spanky Macher, and has substantially the same menu as Spanky's... though perhaps somewhat expanded. Many of the sandwiches on the menu are ones well known to me, and even those which are different are still true to the same style. I could easily make any of them just from the descriptions given. Many of them, I already have made, and some vary only in the names used to describe them. Many don't even vary that much. I see the old familiar names as well.

I've saved a copy of this menu as a pdf file. While it's not quite the one I remember working from so fondly... it'll do.

Edit:

Oh, hey, if anyone else wants to see it who never got the chance to eat at Spanky's, here it is. Not exactly the Spanky's menu, but very close to what you would have had if you ate at my restaurant. In some cases, identical, just with different names.
