This might be a little pathetic, but I'm checking out various ways to earn some extra money, and I've found some interesting programs that I've signed up for. Mostly surf-to-earn type stuff. I'm posting some links here, just in case anyone else is interested.

SoundOm is a program that pays you to have an ad-bar on your desktop while you're listening to music with programs like winamp. You supposedly can earn up to $25 a month with it from your own listening, and more if you get other people to join. I listen to music on the computer a lot, so I figure it's worth my time to check it out.

Earnabled is another program by the same people, it pays you to have an adbar up while using your computer and surfing. Same sort of adbar as Soundom. I'm honestly not sure yet if the money you earn for one counts towards the other yet... it doesn't say that it does, so I am thinking you can earn 25/month with each, but we'll have to wait and see.

iCameo is, again, by the same people. This is something completely different, though... you fill out statistical information about yourself, and then you are paid $1/minute/survey to fill out surveys that they notify you about over email. I really can't say anything about this, I signed but haven't been notified of any yet (that may just be because no surveys are currently taking place that are targeted towards people with my information, however.) If it turns out to be any good, I'll definately post about it again, since it seems to be a really sweet deal.

Cashspace is a program that pays you to read advertisements they send you by email. It's not a lot per mail, honestly, the real money is supposedly earned from those who you refer and their further referrals. However, they do something that I've never seen before... if you run their adbar, they supposedly assign a certain percentage of new signups who signup without referrers to you as referrals. That intrigued me enough to give it a try.

Finally, a warning on one that I've tried out and have found is VERY bad:
It Pays To Learn is a program that sounds good at first... sign up, take quizzes, earn points that can eventually be redeemed for money. Just one teensy catch... the most you can make per month is $4.50, just taking the quizzes. To earn more than that you have to sign up for other programs or refer people or things like that. It's just really not worth it, in my opinion.

Btw, if any of my friends reading this know of decent, reputable make-money-online programs or work-from-home sort of things, toss me an email about them please, or post about them in the comments section. Thanks. :)

I'd be very careful before signing up to these things, frankly. They seem too easy, and anything that seems like earning money for doing very little is almost certainly a scam.

I'm also leery of these things. Anything that puts an adbar on your desktop while you are surfing is spying on what sites you surf... it's spyware. Maybe you don't care about them seeing where you go online, but I tend to think it's none of their business. Besides, after they figure out most of the places you surf to, they will then target banners, popups, spam, and other things based on your surfing habits.

Not for me.
