I've apparently lost some symbols over the years. Just found an old post that talks about having five (no, make that six) symbols.
One of them I realized was not actually a Reiki symbol, so I know what happened to that one...
Two are the ones I currently have archived and have recently been working with.
That leaves three others... that I have little memory and no record of.
One of them I vaguely remember, the others I don't recall at all. Not even a little bit.
That bothers me a lot.
It's also strange that one of them I seem to have channeled and talked about on otherkinreiki@yahoogroups.com on or around July 2, 2000... exactly one year to the day before I channeled it according to my notes. And considering I was typing up my notes at the time I channeled it, I have a hard time believing my notes are wrong....unless I channeled two symbols that do the exact same things and forgot one of them.
*skips forward to July 2, 2001 in the list archives...* Hmm... yeah, looks like it's two different symbols that do the same thing. That means I should have a total of seven channeled symbols. Of which, only three remain in my notes and memory and one of them is not a reiki symbol.
There's one place the older ones may still exist, if there are copies of them anywhere... my tool bag is covered with a bunch of Reiki symbols, they may be among them, but I'm going to have to go over it with a fine-toothed comb and sort them out from all the other symbols on there. If I can.
Grr.... so much for having hyper-organized reiki notes and not losing anything....
Edit: I believe I've found at least two, possibly three, of the missing symbols... now I just need to sort through them and figure out which one does which, and how precisely they're supposed to be drawn. The fourth one, I'm not so worried about. It was one relating to Alzheimers, and I no longer have a use for that, though it surprises me that I simply forgot about a symbol for that purpose.
