Input Requested

Need some input. I have four pieces which are some VERY old work of mine. Circa somewhere between 1996 and 1999. The wrapping job on them is far below my current standards. However, they're wrapped in 12 kt gold-filled wire. So my question is: do I try to sell them as-is, or do I remove the wire and re-wrap them in brass or copper, while trying to salvage the gold wire for reuse if at all possible? Thoughts?
