I Do Believe in Faeries.

I'm in an interesting metaphysical state of mind at the moment. Drawing a good deal of inspiration from fictional sources. An odd merging of things... Doctor Who, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Dresden Files, Peter Pan, that's just for starters. The connections can be interesting, too... both Doctor Who and The Chronicles of Narnia speak of objects/places which are bigger on the inside than on the outside, for instance. And the Dresden Files deals with creatures from the "NeverNever"... a rather clear allusion to NeverNeverland. And Torchwood bridges the gap by connecting the Doctor Who mythos rather neatly with the world of Faeries. I am playing with some of these ideas and currents, seeing where they overlap and where they might take me. I don't do this often enough, which is odd considering other aspects of my practices. Time for a deepening. A refinement.
