Ōmisoka and Oshōgatsu

Basically, we're having a party at my place on the 17th and 18th of February. I know, I know, the actual Japanese New Year got moved to January 1st back in the 1800s, but we're doing it real old-school style here and still celebrating on the lunar new year, coinciding with the Chinese New Year (and sorta kinda being close-ish to my birthday anyway, which is in February). Big party, there will be saki and asian snack foods and such, bring more booze and stuff 'cause we're poor. ;-) Possibly potluck dinner, too, if people are interested in bringing stuff for it, or on the other hand we could just see about ordering in or something. RSVP ASAP, so we know there's actually some interest in this.
