There is a difference between the dark things who hunger for life, and the living who hunger to be damned.

They don't tend to relate well to one another, either.

Heh... that might make a good piece of fiction to try writing someday.

"No Religion Has All The Answers". I've always thought that phrase is even more arrogant than the assertion that one's own religion is the one with all the answers. Presumably, those making the claim that their religion has all the answers believe that based on their experience with their religion, while those who claim that no religion has all the answers could not possibly have personal experience of all of them and actual knowledge that none of them have all the answers. After all, couldn't there be some obscure religion somewhere that they've never heard of that really does have all the answers?

Then I read this. Finally, a rationale for the claim I could not only understand but agree with!

"No group has the way. If any group had the way, one would have raised above all the others and distinguished themselves with their exercising or wisdom and power. None have."

There. Three lines that say it all. And it's applicable for a lot more than just religions. Reiki traditions, martial arts, and many other things can be addressed by the same simple logic.

Humbling, ain't it?
