LJ cut because some might find this question cruel and/or sick as it refers to highly intelligent animals.

Well, a bunch of items from my rock collection have suddenly decided that they wish to be considered part of my metaphysical tools instead. Spent part of tonight playing with them, experimenting, getting to know them energetically. Rather impressed by certain ones that I would not have previously thought of as useful metaphysical tools. Particularly a piece of Youngite, which is Brocaded Jasper with Drusey Quartz... also a piece of petrified wood from a uranium mine in Moab, Utah.

There's also a piece of obsidian that has some rather nice energetic properties, and some very rounded stones I've never really identified, about the size of my two fists held together, that I found in northern new jersey in piles of roundish rocks that, at the time, looked like eggs. The ones I have still have been cut open, revealing a black or dark grey solid interior with white and grey flecks. I don't really know what they are, but the feel of them is interesting. I've been experimenting with them and the other stones in grids.

In a semi-related related note, does anyone know of cheap orgone generator/accumulator plans available on the internet, specifically a variety capable of gathering ambient energy and directing it into a tight focused stream similar to a laser? Alternately, does anyone know of other methods for directing energy into such a tight focused stream without requiring the conscious direction of someone channeling the energy through them? I know that there are symbols and other things which can generate orgone or similar energies, but I am not sure how to focus it into a coherent beam or similar narrow stream of energy.
