Well... I got the channeled symbols of every otherkin who has given me permission to use their symbols posted in the Reiki Annex tonight. Even made an image for the one symbol which was not presently illustrated on any other sites. I think it's probably the largest collection of channeled symbols the community has ever seen, at this point.

Next step, I suppose, is to get the Usui and Karuna symbols illustrated and up there as well.

Well, everyone is probably already sick of my renewed Reiki Obsession, but I just thought I'd let people know: the Takata/Usui and Karuna symbols are now up in the Reiki Annex.

http://wanderingpaths.heliwood.org/Reiki/index.html

I've been asked if that's everything, and I'm rather happy to be able to say no, it's not even close to done yet. I'm not sure it ever will be truly done, either, since I'm constantly learning new things and expanding my knowledge of Reiki into new territory. Plus, there are some new Reiki systems that I'm really thinking of looking into as time permits... Seichim, Terra Mai, Violet Flame... not sure what else.

I'm trying to weave these Reiki systems together into something unified and coherent, finding the base underlying principles that make the system work and learning how to make it even more powerful. I've already been making progress, and I'm going to be working on writing out and putting up a lot of the theoretical material that deals with those ideas. I'm also going to put up information on the things that are not strictly Reiki but can benefit Reiki practice, such as the use of mudras to focus and project energy.

This Reiki Annex is going to become a manual for a unified Reiki system. I haven't really decided what to call it yet, though I've been toying around with a few ideas. Possibly Ryu Tsu Do Reiki, though I'm not sure I want to stick with japanese for the name. We'll see. I kinda wish I could remember enough Aloryan to name it in that language.
