My latest reiki musings are heading off in interesting directions...
I think I have the start of a real comprehensive theory of reiki symbols and how they fit into the reiki system despite not being an original part of it, nor even truly necessary.
I also think that I'm onto something with the juxtaposition of spinning reiki symbols, tornado-like energy vortexes, and tibetan prayer wheels.
I'm also exploring some other connections, particularly with the associations between spiritual beings (ascended masters, angels, spirit guides, etc...) and Reiki. One of the Reiki systems that I am attuned to makes use of an invocation of such a being, and I am experimenting with how the system might react to other beings invoked instead and/or in conjunction. Currently, I need more data before I can reach any definitive conclusions. Matters are also somewhat complicated by this system including the means to invoke such beings separately from its main invocation, requiring some experimentation to reveal how the system responds to each sort of invocation for each entity, both separately and in conjunction with others.
