Gah. Sometimes when I read things that have been written for newly awakened kin or those unfamiliar with the concept of kin at all, I just want to reach out and physically shake the authors and scream at them "Do you know what you're saying??" Yes, we might know what you meant, but the audience you're writing for does not have a filter of personal experience through which to pass your words, and they ARE going to take those words in a way which you didn't mean if you are not much more careful about exactly what you are saying. I guarantee it.
