I just thought those of my friends who are fans of Douglas Adams would like to know... the WanderingPaths website is now being designed using the SubEthaEdit text editor. I like it a lot so far, particularly its integration with my FTP client so that I can easily edit files on my website without maintaining local copies. It's ability to correctly highlight syntax from html to css to xml and beyond to other languages... not to mention its expandability in that area for future language needs... is quite useful and impressive.
I also like the collaborative work concept, though as yet have not found cause or opportunity to make use of it in practice.
