I was told something tonight that I will treasure always:
When logically countering someone's "argument" AND pointing out that the majority of the argument he made was plagiarized verbatim (cut and paste blog replies seem to be common in some quarters) from another publication reduces him to calling me names like this on a blog which specifically says in its rules to critique the message, not the messenger, I can't help but feel like I've won a pleasant little victory, even if it was over an unarmed opponent.
Seriously, though, when did people start thinking that cutting and pasting from editorials is a good way to compose a reply on a blog? I probably wouldn't have found it if I didn't look up some information he cited in his comment that sounded wrong to me, and found the original source of the phrase he used contained a lot more than just that one phrase in common with his reply. Paragraphs more.
