Think one person can't make a difference? If you speak to a community from your heart and touch just two people with your message, and they turn around and each touch just two more with your common message, and the progression continues just seven times... then your message will have touched 254 people who now share your vision, not including yourself. Kind of humbling to think about.
And yes, this is the same progression that indicates how many vampires you'll have after a week if they each kill one victim a night. Also works for missionaries, too. ;-)
