I think my brain hates me right now... I pushed it into overdrive to get something done the other day that actually needed to get done, and now I'm subjecting it to strange and hard to follow ideas just for fun...

... eh, even if it hates me, it has to admit that the subject matter we're looking up is interesting. *grins*

I have come to at least one conclusion so far from the research I am currently conducting: if one has a choice to make between trinary logic and binary logic, binary logic would dictate that the two are in opposition and one must be chosen over the other. Trinary logic, on the other hand, would see them as two aspects of a greater whole, and suggest that either they could be used in tandem for greatest understanding or that there is a third type of logic which may have properties in common with both but which is itself a third unique thing, and that together these three form a greater logical whole.

The implications of this insight are very interesting, and there may still be dimensions of this complete line of reasoning which I have not fully explored, as there are almost certainly implications which I have not yet seen.

I haven't stopped exploring yet, though.
