Just so those of my friends who are interested know, there's a direct reply by Silverfox in my LJ now. Though posted anonymously rather than from her own account, she does identify herself by name. Those of you with past experiences with HOPE may wish to observe, or even comment. This is the link to the post in question:

So, MSN otherkin group was never a part of HOPE? Let's look at some facts:

In September, 2002 the yahoo group Otherkingazette became affiliated with the MSN group Otherkin.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/otherkingazette/message/2337

They bill themselves, even now, as "Two Resources in One".

In December, 2002 the yahoo group Otherkingazette "found a good new place to put [their] healing list".
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/otherkingazette/message/2350

That place?

Current List is here -

Gee, isn't it funny how a list with it's own MSN community would need to put it's healing list up at the HOPEorg MSN community at a time when neither Otherkingazette nor Otherkin MSN community were supposedly affiliated with HOPEorg? It's also interesting to note that this is among the projects that HOPE-CORDE has apparently chosen to take over from HOPE, despite HOPE-CORDE supposedly being a completely new group with nothing to do with HOPE's old incarnations.

Edited slightly a few minutes later to correct an autolink problem and some grammatical mistakes. -Jarin

Just archiving links to all of the sites and "resources" I'm *currently* aware of that are affiliated with the old HOPE organization or it's leader Adara:

Sites:
1. http://www.hopeorg.com
2. http://http://hopeorg.com/altnetcom/
3. http://www.angelfire.com/weird/alternativenet/

Yahoo Groups:
1. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HOPEChapters/
2. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Hopecouncil/
3. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/cordefoundation/
4. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AltAlerts/
5. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Catsinadogsworld/
6. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/otherkingazette/
7. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/elenari-and-friends/
8. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/awakeningz/
9. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/altnet/

Edit- a couple minutes later - I missed one:
10. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hopeann/

Edit again- Oops, another one slipped past me too. Lot of these little buggers, aren't there?
11. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HOPEforum/

10. http://groups.msn.com/HOPEchapterofNH/

Edit: Missed an MSN one too:
11. http://groups.msn.com/alternativenetwork/

Edit: There are really too many of these things, aren't there? You wouldn't believe how hard I have to dig to make sure I've really gotten all of them. There's also supposed to be a few others, but I'm only putting up the ones the links actually work for. (This one won't let you in unless you log into it, but it does exist unlike those groups which are not there at all.)
12. http://groups.msn.com/HopeCordeVictoriaAustralianChapter

And, last but not least, my personal favorite:
13. http://groups.msn.com/AltSingles/

Why is this one my favorite? Simple, really, it's run by HOPEorg's "Jarin", the one that I have mentioned here before. And here, at last, have I found a post by him. http://groups.msn.com/AltSingles/general.msnw?action=get_message&mview=0&ID_Message=2&LastModified=4675388958945538546

Interesting that he also goes by Nathan and by Raven X, but for HOPE he's chosen to use the name Jarin, despite me asking on multiple occasions if there was any way for them to differentiate him from me, since I am no longer affiliated with their organization.

Also, does anyone have any information on the yahoo group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Terra_Alliance/? I have no real evidence at this time that it is connected with HOPE, but when it comes up on the yahoo groups search page it's abbreviated description contains the phrase "non-member helpers" which is a phrase that Adara frequently used when I was a member of HOPE and which I have never heard used by any group not connected with HOPE.

"Terra_Alliance
This list is for anyone associated with us. Be they members, allies, non-member helpers, ex-members, or people who are our friends, all of you are welcome here. It was created for helping in communication as well as to fostering understanding between those involved with our organization. Subscribors can use this list to talk to each other, network, share links, discuss projects, alternative lifestyles, the universe in general and whatever else you guys can think of. We will occasionally hand ... more"

That's the description of this group from Yahoogroup's search function. It also seems to come up when you do a search for the word "Silverfox", so I'm thinking that between the description and the search terms that work there's a rather good indication that it is, in fact, another HOPE-affiliated group.
