I'm seeing stuff about glamourbombing becoming more and more mainstream... I just heard that a local pagan group at Rutgers College in NJ is having a seminar on glamourbombing. That kind of bothers me... especially since the definition seems to be shifting more and more to something akin to guerilla art or startling expressions of non-ordinaryness. What happened to the concept of glamour as enchantment... even entrancement? I've been studying hypnosis and guided meditation lately, and I've been thinking about how similar they can be to faerie glamour, but how different as well. I wonder if the modern forms of glamour might not learn from the art of hypnosis, and if the art of hypnosis might not benefit from the study of the lore of glamour.
