As I'm sitting here, there are two songs that are running through my head right now... both of them filk, but somehow oddly appropriate for the day, and I hope a respectful tribute for the fallen crew of the space shuttle Columbia.
The first song is Fly Columbia by Diana Gallagher, sung by Leslie Fish. I have unfortunately not been able to find lyrics for this song, and my own attempts to transcribe them met with a bit of confusion as to the exact lyrics in certain parts, so I'll just post the link to the mp3 here.
The second is the song Fire in the Sky, written by Jordin Kare (bridge by Kristoph Klover), arranged and sung by Kristoph Klover. Both the mp3 and the lyrics for that song can be found by following the link.
