Ok, so I found out something that I hadn't really looked into earlier when I was researching how to learn better. I've been reading up a bit on NLP, Neuro Linguistic Programming, and one of the most important things in it is the idea that everyone uses one of their senses as their primary way of representing the world. Generally this is Visual, Auditory, or Kinesthetic. I took one of the tests to find out what mine is, and I am almost totally Kinesthetic in my approach to things. Seeing as I'm empathic, that doesn't really surprise me much. I'm going to go through and learn more about Kinesthetic Representation Systems and Learning Styles, and see if I can find ways to turn that into an advantage for myself. (Though some of the sites I've surfed through so far seem to think it's just the opposite.)
