I think that I'm really making progress in my effort to learn more effective approaches to studying. The other day, for the first time ever, I read a nonfiction book that I can honestly say I could not put down. I've been doing that with fiction for years, but frankly I always got bored when I tried to do the same with nonfiction. I think that the way that I've learned to approach them, which also results in me retaining more of what I read, is really helping me. I just wish that I had learned these things a few years ago, when I was still in school. Oh well... at least it's coming in handy now. :)
