... I have the oddest feeling I just met someone I already know. The lady who came out to take care of my grandmother is quite interesting, very open-minded and pleasant. She's from West Africa and is big on the importance of family... I think she has a more tribal outlook than you would really find in this part of the world, and that's a good thing in my opinion. She's very comfortable being here, and talking with me... we spent several hours talking about all sorts of things, even got talking about Dusk. (I'm out to her about being pagan and gay, not going to get into otherkin unless she mentions something to me along those lines, though.) It was very pleasant, almost like talking with an old friend. She even commented that she felt like she had been here before. I teased her a bit, said maybe she had been here in a past life... she laughed a lot at that, but not in a way that sounded like she thought the idea was unlikely. She intrigues me. :) I can't wait to spend more time talking with her.
